The sparkling wine Amphora Vino Spumante Brut Nature, vintage 2018 from the winery BiancaVigna has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, light amber, bubbly mousse. Intensive, very aromatic nose, some resinous notes at the beginning, then orange zest, preserved peach, apricot, rather reminiscent of a sweet wine than of Prosecco. On the palate notes of saffron, some pickled cucumber, a lot of baked apple, bone-dry, emphatically salty notes, very long finish, unusual but extremely exciting!
