Tasting from 12.10.2022: Ulrich Sautter

On the nose, you can detect subtle toasted wood and aromas of peanut flips, orange confit and charentais melon. The palate impresses with its suppleness, smoothness and elegance, despite its rich body. Delicate phenolics, firm (but ripe) acidity and chalky mineral notes are further strong points in a wine of considerable depth.

More about the tasting

A wildly spicy spontaneous fermentation nose. Apple, very ripe to overripe honeydew melon. Oily on the palate, then quite present, powerful phenolics, ripe integrated acidity, broad, silky and generous finish. The nose is a little overcrowded.
