Tasting Notes

91
Tasting from 23.11.2019

Full-bodied aroma of honeydew melon, pineapple, pear, savoury notes and roasted aromas from barrel ageing. Soft on the palate, powerful structure, shows substance, good density and depth, distinguished and elegant, lingers for a long time, certain ageing potential.

More about the tasting

Aromas of spontaneous fermentation, malty, herbal, some candied orange peel over ripe yellow fruit, honeydew melon, pear. Presumably maceration time, as it smells, some orange character. Cider. Dry on the palate and with a strong, firm structure, the wood is still dominant, seems most Burgundian, has certain ageing potential. It is dense and long too.
