The white wine Pétalos Bierzo DO, vintage 2014 from the winery Bodega Descendientes de J. Palacios has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay from the region Bierzo in Spain.
Balsamic, juniper, sweet cherry, elderberry, very complex and yet still rather reductive and not fully developed. Relaxed on the palate, medium-bodied in alcohol, dense in extract but not over-concentrated, ripe tannins, mild acidity, stylish in its restrained yet expressive manner.
