Tasting Notes
On the nose: "sweet" wood and a delicate, mineral-tinged sweet cherry fruit. On the palate: fine tannins and very elegant acidity, unobtrusive extract, juiciness, a Chianti with a very transparent structure that is gluggable now, but will also give pleasure for many years to come.
More about the tastingIntense dark ruby. Lots of dark berry fruit, blackberry and liquorice, plus fine cherry. Smooth on the attack and upfront, opens with grippy tannins, then unfortunately dries out a little on the finish.
