The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep glossy ruby colour. Subtle notes of wood on the nose, followed by succulent cherry, wild berry, blood orange and violets. Smooth and round on the palate, spreading harmoniously across the tongue, elegant and compact with a certain saltiness on the finish. Still youthful.
