The red wine Barolo DOCG Sarmassa, vintage 2017 from the winery Brezza dal 1885 has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red with brown hues. Aromas of fresh herbs and forest floor, slightly earthy with hints of leather and cloves, cedar, mature. Enveloping, with well-integrated tannins, a rich texture, smooth and velvety, powerful on the finish, long and lingering.
