The red wine Tre Stelle Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Cascina delle Rose has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, brilliant ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Intense and inviting nose with pronounced notes of plums, dark cherries, some leather and liquorice. Lots of dark fruit on the palate as well, opens with tight, dense tannins, earthy notes, juicy and long.
