Rich, bright ruby purple; initially slightly reductive on the nose, intense blackberry and blueberry notes behind it, blossoms beautifully after aeration, very clear; lots of juicy fruit in the attack, unfolds with astonishing finesse, pithy tannin, slightly dusty on the finish, lots of ripe berry notes, some rum pot.
