The red wine NO 1, vintage 2019 from the winery Cave Biber SA has been rated in 2024 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Salquenen - Salgesch in Switzerland.
This has a dark ruby colour, with ripe reflections. There is a dark fruity mature nose, with aromas of dried plum, blackberry and blueberry, with a fine spiciness, oak nuances, and some shoe polish. It is medium-bodied on the palate, displaying a ripe acidity, and again dark fruity notes, as well as some mocha. There are fine ripe but still noticeable tannins, and it has a suitable length, and some dried fruit nuances.
