The sweet and dessert wine Les Erables de Caillou, vintage 2009 from the winery Château Caillou has been rated in 2012 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sémillon from the region Sauternes in France.
Light yellow gold. Fresh touch of apricots and quinces, rather restrained bouquet, delicate blossom honey. Elegant, fine white tropical fruit, underpinned with a pleasant acidity, good spiciness, mineral style in the finish, delicately dry tannins, oranges in the aftertaste.
