The red wine Château Canon, vintage 2001 from the winery Château Canon has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region St. Emilion in France.
Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections. Very woody on the nose, vegetal nuances, delicate dark berry fruit, restrained bouquet. Balanced on the palate, well-integrated tannins that are still somewhat demanding in the finish, underlaid with good extract sweetness, not yet ready to drink, good potential.
