The white wine Fleur de Cantelys Blanc, vintage 2023 from the winery Château Cantelys has been rated in 2025 by Romana Echensperger with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon from the region Pessac-Léognan in France.
A wine that impresses with its fine bouquet of ripeness and drinkability, although it deviates from the usual dogma of freshness. The Sémillon characterises the bouquet with aromas of nectarine, buttered toast and cream caramel, as well as notes of lemon tart, kaffir lime leaves, vanilla and nutmeg. Dry, silky texture, smooth and good length. A wine that is now great fun.
