Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet, almost black core, violet rim. In the nose, a noble, inviting spicy note of precious woods, mineral and fresh, fine cassis. Fresh, rather red berry fruit on the palate, finesse-rich acidity structure, followed by a powerful tannin block that is still somewhat astringent, underlaid with sweet fruit on the finish, but a slightly drying tendency also appears here, which costs the wine length, bitter chocolate aftertaste. It is still very early here, the wine will certainly develop well over the years, it is still quite a chunk.
