The red wine Limoux AOC Domaine de Baronarques, vintage 2007 from the winery Château D’Aussieres – Domaines Barons de Rothschild has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Malbec from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Fine Cabernet nose, savoury, leather, cassis, ethereal, graphite, bouquet-rich, on the palate supple and full, still fresh but also supple. Savoury on the finish with great length. The wine is warm in alcohol but underpinned by juiciness. Exceptionally finely matured, and still on the rise.
