The red wine Aussières Merlot Pays d'Oc IGP, vintage 2014 from the winery Château D’Aussieres – Domaines Barons de Rothschild has been rated in 2015 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Initially somewhat metallic on the nose, almost ripe blueberry, but then also more and more chocolate, alcohol-rich but compactly held together palate, sandy tannin in a well-chosen quantity, positive extract, ripe acid support, little Merlot cliché, grippy finish.
