Tasting Notes
Strong ruby-garnet color, delicate ochre reflections, broad rim brightening. Delicate herbal spice, dominated by candied violets, black berry confit, mandarin zest, dark, pickled cherries, tobacco nuances, some black truffles. Medium-bodied, ripe cherry fruit, freshly structured, pleasant sweetness on the finish, wonderful to drink now, a delicate food companion that will be able to maintain this level for a few more years, a light-footed wine that should nevertheless be enjoyed promptly.
