Deep garnet with purple tinge to the rim. Floral notes, blackcurrants, sour rather than black cherry, thyme, forest blueberry. The palate shows grippy tannins nicely integrated into creamy textural extract, just a pinch of greenish components, vivid. Everything has a mineral underpinning, alcohol a little noticeable but in balance, elegant with a juicy, fine-nerved finish.
