The red wine Hochar Père et Fils Red, vintage 2003 from the winery Château Musar has been rated in 2011 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cinsault, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache from the region Bekaa plain in Lebanon.
Bright, deep ruby red with amber reflections. Wonderful interplay in the glass of dark berries, raspberries and plums, slightly herbal notes. Complex, slightly sweetish interplay in the mouth of cherries, plums and wild berries with lots of spices, slightly smoky. Medium texture, pleasant acidity that lends freshness. Balanced tannins, good length, slightly mineral finish.
