Some wood and an almost Riesling-like spiciness, red apple, pink grapefruit, but also hay, elderflower and herbal bitters. Smooth, almost viscous attack, then powerfully full-bodied with somewhat dry phenolics, firm acid backbone, powerful alcohol, still very young and restless, needs to harmonise.
