The white wine Shamaris Tenuta Monte Pietroso Sicilia DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Cusumano has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grillo from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intensely bright lemon yellow. Extremely fragrant with elderberry and lime, in addition to yellow fruit and ripe quince. Spreads delicately over the tongue. It has a compact core, and there is interplay between drive and juiciness. Preserved lemon notes enliven the medium-long finish.
