The red wine Hermitage AOC Domaine de Tourettes, vintage 2010 from the winery Delas Frères has been rated in 2015 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
Dark ruby garnet with purple and ochre reflections and a discreet rim brightening. Ripe black cherries, sweet forest berry jam on the nose is underlaid by tobacco nuances and a hint of black olives in the background. Powerful on the palate, again with black berry jam backed by supporting tannins that still feel a bit austere and demanding on the finish. Needs a few more years in bottle.
