Tasting from 01.12.2021: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser

Deep crimson garnet with purple reflections and a broad ochre rim. Finely spiced, mineral-accented cassis fruit and rose petals on the nose, with redcurrants and smoky rocky notes. Complex on the palate, and pronounced in fruit - especially ripe, pickled cherries and wild berry jam. There's vivid, supporting and at the same time fine tannins and salty nuances in the finish which shows very good length. This is already accessible and a great food companion. (2020 - 2050) Tasted by Peter Moser, 1/2021.
