Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, violet core, ruby red reflections, broad ochre rim. Fresh cherry fruit on the nose, hints of orange zest, fine herbal spice, some undergrowth. Enormous finesse on the palate, great violet notes, mineral and surprisingly finely structured, a multitude of spicy nuances in the finish, fine roasted aromas, very attractive and enticing. At this stage, it is the most attractive of the DRC wines tasted from this vintage and on a par with the Domaine's greatest vintages among the Romanée-St. Vivants. (store/drink/+20)
