Tasting Notes
A maturely coloured rim. On the nose: aromas of peat, pear bread, sweetened Assam tea and malt, as well as fruity: apricot peel, fig and red currant, and peppery notes. Smooth on the palate, round and soft, almost oily, fine but concentrated acidity, still firm, fine-grained tannin, long-lasting plateau phase, good nerve of acidity, more creamy than juicy on the finish, a wine with powerful alcohol, but filled with a lot of content.
