The red wine Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Cuvée des Alouettes, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Ponsot has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
Wild raspberry, red currant, iron, slightly reductive notes. In the mouth, firm acidity, very fine, but also grippy tannin and a fresh, still very youthful berry character. Pure and elegant, juicy and light while at the same time rich in body, intense and lasting on the palate, minerally and ultra-pure fruit give the wine, which is already good to drink, a life expectancy of 20 years and more.
