Tasting Notes
From the family cellar. Mature coloured spirit. Rose petal, Darjeeling, sage, red berryish notes, cranberryish, nothing sweet here, everything very pure, savoury and floral, of immense clarity. On the palate the wine starts juicy, very subtle tannins, then a lively acidity comes into play that almost defines the structure. The tannins beginning to create texture, still have tension in a slowly mellowing way - their consistency is exactly such that it underlines the impression of straightforward elegance. Smooth background, stunningly elegant, and not a bit tired.
