The white wine Clos Ste. Hune Alsace Riesling, vintage 2009 from the winery Domaine Trimbach has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Alsace in France.
Pale golden yellow. On the nose: apple sauce, lots of liquorice, fresh and ripe in one, flint, mint, bitter orange. On the palate: Power, but also a still impressively lively freshness, a still almost astringent phenolics quality. Immense extract, still very young. Strong mineral background. Leave for at least another ten years!
