The white wine Clos Ste. Hune Alsace Riesling, vintage 1976 from the winery Domaine Trimbach has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Alsace in France.
Golden yellow to golden with amber reflections. Some Marsala on the nose, also a hint of candied fruit, apple, fig and blossom honey. Round and supple on the palate, but also with a lot of drive, with stable, well-integrated acidity and fine, ripe phenolics. The wine combines structure and roundness, the alcohol appears integrated, the fullness of the warm year is noticeable, but does not appear exuberant.
