The white wine »Saint-Véran La Renommée«, vintage 2017 from the winery Éric Forest has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Mâconnais in France.
Exotic aroma, papaya, mango, aniseed, fennel, bergamot, turmeric, corn tossed in nut butter. Smooth and with drive on the palate, cultivated acidity, creamy base, mineral savouriness, dense and very elegant, a beautiful gastronomic companion to poultry or veal sweetbreads. A lot of Burgundian Chardonnay for the money.
