Tasting Notes
A medium-bodied Tuscan red with a slight ripe edge. The nose has a stylish Chianti bouquet of balsamic notes, cedar, tobacco, vanilla and black fruit. The attack is soft and well-supported by silky tannin and fresh acidity. It's delicate and leads to a long finish -elegant, and at the same time powerful. Increasingly complex with air.
More about the tastingSparkling ruby with garnet rim. Opens with distinctly smoky, earthy notes of sealing wax and dried herbs, then lots of blackberry and dark cherry. Presents itself on the palate with fine-meshed, firm tannins, unfolds in many layers, full pressure at the back, lots of beautiful melting, a wine with a lot of development potential.
