Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, faint watery edge. Delicate fresh plum, dark forest berry aroma, some nougat, candied orange zest. Juicy, elegant, sweet texture, vivid, lightly savoury tannins, some cocoa on the palate, discreet acidity, a powerful, already well developed food wine with mineral, long finish.
More about the tastingStrong ruby garnet with purple reflections and subtle rim brightening suggesting some maturity. Ripe red forest berries and candied orange zest are underlaid with a hint of cassis and subtle nougatty notes. The palte is juicy, elegant and harmonious thanks to a core of sweet fruit and silky, well-integrated tannins. A mineral touch and chocolate nuances on the finish add complexity. Good length, this is already gluggable, but endowed with further ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Fine black berry confit, delicate precious wood notes, delicate floral but also fleshy nuances, tobacco nuances. Full-bodied, sweet blackberries, some nougat, fine tannins, complex and persistent, still somewhat underdeveloped overall, will benefit from bottle ageing.
More about the tastingAlways one of the most powerful Riberas: plummy, ripe, creamy in the mouth, fine delicacy in the finish, restrained tannins, remains intensely fruity on the palate.
