The red wine Anton, vintage 1997 from the winery IBY Rotweingut Bio has been rated in 2007 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blaufränkisch from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, deep core, youthful reflections. Delicately bacony, reductive nose, lots of herbal spice, bitter chocolate, needs plenty of air. Somewhat bulky, still angular tannins on the palate, leaves a somewhat rough, slightly drying impression, a little too much wood.
