The red wine Ipsus Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Il Caggio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright, brightening ruby red colour with a delicate garnet hue. Delicately fragrant nose, elegant, soft cherry fruit, candle wax, incense, very smooth and delicate. On the palate with excellently developed fruit, coated in tightly woven tannins, deep, juicy, red berries, comes in many layers, very polished and long, firm drive and sweet texture on the finish.
