Tasting from 17.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby red with delicately brightening rim. Fragrant nose of cedar, cherry, plus fine marzipan and a hint of dried rose petal. Opens polished and clear on the palate, along with exciting, salty tones, compact acidity with subtle perceptible use of oak decorate the bouquet, seems very energetic and bright, will age well.

More about the tasting

Bright, rich ruby colour. Opens on the nose with notes of cranberry and plum, followed by fine salty notes, some dried tomato. Enormously energetic on the palate, lots of finely woven tannin, compact fruit, great tension, very long finish, powerful, but also with great drinking flow.
