Clear, medium-dense ruby colour. Very clear and inviting nose, opens with notes of ripe, dark cherries, some strawberry, plus fine spicy components. Lots of grippy tannins on the palate, opens up in many layers, red berry fruit, unfortunately a little rough on the finish, needs further ageing.
