The white wine Sauvignon The Wine Collection Südtirol DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear lemon-green. Vivid, intense nose with notes of sage, elderflower and ripe dark currant. A little smoky in the background. Shows very good tension on the palate, which has notes of gooseberries, currant jelly and elderflower. Very long, with a creamy texture.
