The white wine Rarity Weissburgunder Südtirol DOC, vintage 2006 from the winery Cantina Terlano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Brilliant, pale straw yellow. Opens with subtly ripened notes, of baked apple and fresh brioche, then spreads out, with chamomile and Mirabelle plums, plus aromatic alpine herbs. Steely and powerful on the palate with a crisp, fresh acidity, fine stone fruit notes, flows quietly, salty and long in the finish.
