The red wine Praepositus Blauburgunder Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Kloster Neustift has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red. Spicy, fleshy nose with aromas of plums, Amarena cherry, dried tomato, black olive, woody-savoury tones on the finish. Fruity and juicy on the palate, opens up full of tension, then grippy tannins with a slight dryness at the back, savoury finish.
