Deep, brilliant ruby. Opens on the nose with rich notes of cocoa, plenty of cherry compote and prune, subtle spice in the background. Powerful and full on the palate, lots of ripe berry fruit, especially elderberry, blackberry, some mint, tightly woven tannins unfold in many layers, it finishes rich and with a long finish.
