The red wine Vigneto Santa Pia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery La Braccesca has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby red. The nose initially displays notes of cheese rind, coconut and milk chocolate, then ripe red berries and dried rose petal. The palate is compact and complex, showing clear fruit at the core, but in addition, there is clearly a noticeable use of wood, which dries up on the finish.
