The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery La Ciarliana has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby, slight violet shimmer. Dense and exciting on the nose, lots of dark blackberry, some elderberry, fine cocoa in the background. Powerful on the palate, shows lots of sweet fruit, very well-integrated tannins, sweet enamel, good length, still a little wood in the finish, but should integrate well.
