The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery La Fortuna has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby red. Ripe wild strawberries on the nose, also reminiscent of cane sugar and cold fruit tea. On the palate a juicy fruit texture, hearty, vivid tight-knit tannins, with a hint of iron in the finish.
