Bright ruby with garnet glints. Opens with light toasted notes, then quite soon shows a lot of ripe fruit, pickled cherries and rose petals. Lots of flint, sparkles, polished tannin, slightly smoky finish, long.
More about the tastingDark, intense ruby. Opens on the nose with intense notes of roasted hazelnut, then lots of ripe raspberry, dark cherry and rose petals. Ripe raspberry and cherry on the palate, also liquorice and leather; then opens up with vivid, dense tannins and a full-bodied finish.
