The red wine Guado al Tasso Bolgheri DOC, vintage 1997 from the winery Marchesi Antinori has been rated in 2003 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Bolgheri in Italy.
This wine is rounded and full of sweet fruit thanks to a small but not insignificant ten percent Syrah component. Medium brick red, delicate ochre rim in the nose, finely inlaid soft cherry nose, some blueberries, sweet on the palate, already appears well matured, like dried plums, elegant in texture, appears polished and elegant, always remains Tuscan, shows a somewhat dry tannin, at the moment also lacks great length. Already in the process of development, good potential.
