The red wine Tignanello IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Marchesi Antinori has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Intense and very clearly marked nose, rich aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, some olive pulp, fine savouriness in the background. Also shows very intense fruit on the palate, lots of blackberry, opens with finely meshed tannin, wrapped in fine texture, spans a wide arc.
