The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Badia a Passignano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Marchesi Antinori has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark shining ruby. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, but as it opens up reveals notes of cinnamon, gingerbread and ripe Amarena cherry. On the palate densely woven tannin with polished touch, beautiful fruit core, balanced and flows elegantly.
