The red wine Marqués de Cáceres Gaudium Rioja DOCa, vintage 2008 from the winery Marqués de Cáceres has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Graciano from the region La Rioja in Spain.
"Wild" nose, but also closed, moss and forest floor, thyme and mugwort, very soft and almost sweetish in the mouth, silky tannin, very mildly flowing, powerful mid-palate with rather defensive juiciness in the transition to the (woody) finish. Seamlessly round and ultimately still far too young.
