The red wine Gaudium Rioja DOCa Reserva, vintage 2015 from the winery Marqués de Cáceres has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle ochre lightening on the rim. Dark berries, fine tobacco, fresh herbs, nuances of French oak, some nougat and bourbon vanilla. Powerful, complex, sweet cherries, savoury tannins, dark chocolate on the finish, mineral and long lasting, a luxurious Rioja in a modern style.
