The red wine Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, shiny ruby. Very fragrant and intense nose, full of cranberries, some figs, then lots of liquorice and truffle. Pithy, dense tannin, but also shows a lot of juicy fruit between the powerful layers, concentrated and profound.
